things to do on Montreal

Montreal is the second largest city in Canada and so there is a lot to do. I will quote 5 things to do:
1. Old Montreal: the historic building and Eropean architecture of the century, the museum, the typical small restaurants and the magnificent Notre Dame de Montreal.
2. Mount Royal Park: Created in 1876 is one of the largest park in Montreal, located in downtown as New York Central Park, with a splandite view of the city. Many events take place there.
3. Place des Arts: Located in downtown Montreal, Place des Arts is Canada's largest cultural complex. It holds 5 theaters of which the famous Théâtre Maisonneuve. It is best known for being the gathering place for fans of Montreal festivals, especially in summer.
4.Museum of Fine Arts of Montreal
Founded in 1860, the MBAM aims to see Canadian and International art and culture. This world-class museum, made up of 4 large pavilions, has more than 38,000 objects in its collection of works of art. Not to mention the Museum's library, dedicated to the history of art, which is one of the largest in Canada.
5. Botanical Gardens
The Montreal Botanical Garden is one of the largest in the world. And has a collection of 22,000 species of plants, spread over 10 exhibition greenhouses and about thirty themed gardens. It is open all year round.
